Sounds interesting, give me some info on it. The link's dead, I've already tried to check it out.

I don't know what E-supercharger that your link forwards to, but the only real one that I know of has been the eRam. And I think they have it patened already. Kinda pricey though, rather get better ignition kit or something else. Close to $300 can get you something better that produce more than 5-9hp.

But if you're curious about the eRam here's their website.

Sounds like BS to me. It has no way of pressurizing the air.

Re: electric supercharger for all that is no joke

From the design, it looks like an axial supercharger. Better get a high-current alternator.

WHICH KIND OF MOD WOULD YOU RECOMMEND TO INCREASE THE HP, im a newbie so sorry for the ignorant question, but since you say there are cheaper mods like better ignition kit, i would appreciate an answer, by the way i have a 1998 4runner, thanks!!!!! i liked the supercharger but as you said its expensive!!

Re: electric supercharger for all that is no joke

New exhaust (tubing headers) is the obvious place to start.

Re: electric supercharger for all that is no joke

Talk to someone at Hooker or other header manufacturer and find out what is avialable (and street legal). There are alot of choices, some for street use and others for purely racing. Don't go too radical. The higher hp-gain headers suck low-end torque to give you performance at high rpm. Keep as much of the low-end torque as you can.
