Lancer 4G63 engine where to Find it? i Dunno
Hey all ... Just picked up a 99' Mitsu Eclipse GSX (4wd Turbo). Engine has tons O' miles (78k) some oil leaks. My question to all you out there is, would a Lanecer 4g63 turbo(imported of corse) be better than choice rather than fully building / port and polishing the 99 gsx engine. whats the better choice? and if the Lancer engine is a better way to do it,why? And where can i find one?

www.kempys.com stock evo 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8, VR4 and GSR engines, well pretty much EVERY mitsi engine available, the Eclipse 63 is pretty much the same as the earlier vr4 engine so they will be cheap.

no what i mean is.... What about the power, USDM = 210 but imported evo 4g63 is 271 stock? should i just fully build the GSX and boost higher (22psi off the 16g)

its really up to you, but do some research into the costs of both options, and go with the cheapest. both really good engines, just the evo comes with lil extra goodies and wont need much 'building' to make it more powerful, yet if you were to build the DSM engine, you could also forge it while its in pieces and go from there?
