99 Olds Wipers
I am having a problem with my wipers parking in the up postion. The local GM Dealer wants to sell me a new wiper transmission for $437 (Canadian Dollars - about $2.50US!) and I am wonerding if anyone has seen this problem before. I have already replaced the pulse motor.

If you haven't had it apart (causing a timing error), check to see if the wiper trans bellcrank has a bent stop tab. Sometimes a bent tab can cause the trans to overshoot the park position.
