take a look at this sad story

i dont know if this is repost, but either ways, it can be used as a reminder of what could happen if you race on the streets. im sure a lot of you have seen stuff like this, but i thought this was a really sad story that everyone should know.

the story goes like the kid was street racing at 136 mph, hits a pole, hits a tree, and lands in a house.

That is a terribly sad story. That is the danger of racing tho, and its one we all have to respect. Sometimes things just dont happen right. One of my close friends was driving the speed limit in a downtown area when a drunk driver came barreling the wrong way down a one way road, estimated at speeds of 75 in a 25 zone. I was actually 2 blocks away when I heard the wreck. Of course, the drunk driver suffered minor injuries and my friend died instantly. The drunk is going to be in prision for a long time however. Things like these happen when people underestimate the effects of alcohol or excessive speed sadly. The incredibly sad thing was that it was the day after his HS graduation. He didn't race either, he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. So please think twice before you drink and drive, and this is coming from a 17 year old stoner.......

Re: take a look at this sad story

going down a 1 lane two-way country road with telephone poles at 130-something mph is just plain stupid. what the hell was he thinking.

even doing 100+ on a 4 lane hiway is scary.... shiat.

you know what they say, live by the sword, die by the sword.... and his parents were complaining the air bags didnt deploy. that car was chopped in half, it woulda made absolutely no difference - he was toast right when his car started to lose control.

Who cares?
The kid was stupid enough to drive that fast in a residential area he should be dead.

Re: take a look at this sad story

saw this before.. 135 thats pushin it, after 95 I tend to think, wow if I see a cop I'm screwed. Also it said "he was known as a good driver" please.

Some people just can't handle a car with power, not saying I'm a perfect driver here, but I dont drive it stupidly. It's a shame he killed his g/f while being dumb.

Something similar to this happened in my town last month. A 17 year-old guy I knew was hotrodding it around some backroads in his mustang at 100 mph + when he lost control and hit a tree, killing his 15 year-old passenger. The driver is still in the hospital as we speak. Sad stuff ladies and gentlemen.
