Kamei grill questions

I am interested in buying either on of those Kamei mesh grill or another type of grill to replace the front VW emblem. My question is what do you do with the little indent in the hood when you remove the stock grill??? Any comments or experiences welcome. TIA

hey im a noob so im in no way an expert on this... but im pretty sure you need to either buy a peice to fill in that indent, but u can still see the indent... the other option is to have it professionally, but money could be a factor with that... anyway good choice in grill i think that grill looks awsome

I have the same grill on my vr6 jetta and it comes with a plastic filler piece and some epoxy/glue to stick it to the hood. I would recommend that you file the little plastic legs on the filler piece for an even flat surface so it matches the hood. Its a beautiful grill and really transform the car, i have people mistaking me for an audi. Until they see the bora and vr6 emblem on the back. If you already have bought it, then nevermind, you already know. Plus i got my piece painted for free at a body shop, since its so small.
