changing spark plugs?
Hi all,
i have a 2001 silverado 6L HD. i want to change the plugs but there a metal shroud around the plugs. does this just pull off the plug like standard lead? also, any recommendations for plugs and leads? by the way, the motor pings! thanks |

Yes it pulls right off with the spark plug wire. Only recommend factory replacement parts (GM). While you could shop around and find the parts cheaper initially, it will cost more in the long run. No I don't sell parts, this is my honest belief.

Re: changing spark plugs?
I used acdelco rapid fire double platinum..
single platinum melted the first time they were installed so went with double. |
