Tranny Trouble

Hey,
I have a 97 pgt 110k miles and ive only had it for about 7k, but i hear the tranny's go bad on the auto at 100k.. the transmission fluid is def brown, and ive been hearing mixed things.. 1. don't flush tranny, it will pick up all the metal and screw with it.
2. dnt change the fluid because it can screw with it..

i just wanna know if anyone knows the safest way to help me starighten out how to truely care for my tranny? i had a truck b4 this. so imstill learning.

thanx

Re: Tranny Trouble

i just flushed my tranny and put a cooler on it ,cuase they truly help, i flushed it and all. no problems 11 k miles. since i bought mine at 111 k and it was running on the original fluid from the new junkyard tranny. new filter and your good to go for a while.
