NOS and new eclipses
How do the new v6 eclipses handle NOS?? I'm thinking about hooking up about a 65 hp shot to it and was wondering what kind of difference it would make in the 1/4 and if NOS has any long-term effects on motor if used sparingly?

Re: NOS and new eclipses
A safe shot is 55 wet to begin with. A 75 shot is attainable with the 6 cylinder and no after/negative effects is used intelligently.
Wet means fuel is mixed in with the nitrous when injected into the engine. This is lower the 1/4 mile times to about 14.5. Not too good. Dry, i would not use. although the 3G does run rich, it is not that rich and can/will destroy pistons and rings. |
