right now i almost have enough money for a car and i cant decide whether to get a 240sx or an integra gs.....what car do u think has more potential and sum or the pros and cons for a 240sx........ try to conivince me why i should get a 240sx

i say get a dsm thats a eclipse\talon\laser
they are turbo and have crazy potintal.. faster then a integra and 240 with little mods..

well I'd get the Talon over the eclipse, it's AWD so it can launch better and much better in snow. But, I don't like DSM motors b/c they rn't reliable. They won't last very long and will make u spend more on repairs. I chose Nissan b/c their engines r built to last, with power. As far as Acura goes, they're motors are one of the most reliable and longest lasting engines in the industry, but as for 240sx and integra, it's all a matter of preference. I don't like the integra's design, two beaty headlights and they're everywhere. I chose the 240sx b/c they're unique and I like the exterior styling more. Also it's RWD, can't go back to FWD anymore

thanks publice enimy ya im not really a fan of the talons eother but i live in vancouver and it rains here alot so the rear wheel night bee tuff. but i like the nissans engine better and the sr20det swap sopunds really tempting... but i would like to tame the stock 240sx engine before i do that cause ive only been driving for 7 months and dont wanna get myslef into too much trouble or accidents.

integra vs 240, thats not an easy choice.
first off i like s13 240's and the second gen integra almost the same. i chose a 240 cuz i didn't want fwd anymore (i was actually in the market for an fc rx7 at the time) what year integra or 240 are you looking at? whats you intention with the car as far as motor sports go? how much hp do you want?
my ideas for both cars would be...
integra: massive suspension mods and an ls-turbo set-up (a turbo b18b, no vtec shit)
240sx: same with the suspension mods but i'm torn between a ca18det and an sr20det ( i know i'll end up with the ca cuz of school tho)

Better reliability
More aftermarket, VTEC heads make the engine sound awesome.
Engine is a joy to rev.
Good steering and brake feel

Unless you plan on doing some competitive track racing or drifting, then the only reason you should get a 240sx is because of price; 240sxs tend to be cheaper than integras, including insurance.

The KA is more receptive to turbos than a honda engine, but if you had turbo in mind from the start then you wouldn't be asking us.

i want a car that will be close to 200hp and i got enough money for the car its just turbo set ups on n/a motors would be outa the question.....im not gonna be doing any hardcore drifiting or track racing seeing as im 16 but in a few years probbly .....i just want a nice looking fast car that isnt too pricey....im looking at an 89-92 rx7 91-93 240sx se....integra ls or gs 92-93 ....i want the gsr but its really rare and pricey the b17
