Post shift clank

My silverado has had a trans clutch pack replaced , 3rd gear to be exact , and has made a horrible clank when shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd ever since . I took it to the dealer today and was prepared to get BS'ed and wasn't dissappointed . The service bulletin makes no reference to my problem and they seem to have lumped every noise made by a trans into being normal . Thats an insult to my intelligence and a ripoff with a stench brewing . I'ld like to know if GM put out a recording of the noise they claim to be normal . I describe it as a hammer hitting a hunk of steel . Thats not a clunk , as most cars do make . This is a real head turner when you go down the street not some slight thump . There is nothing normal about it yet I got the BS line about the service bulletin .
