Engine

Hi

I too wish to fit a bigger engine and have been speakin to some specialists.

i havent yet got a licence so my insurance is sky high even though i only have a 1.1i.

like i said i have been speaking to some people and they reckon a fiesta 1.3 engine will fit right in with no or very little modifications! no need to do the clutch or gearbox or anythin!

obviously an idea to uprate the brakes!

im seriously considering this as the insurance will still be cheap but u'll have the power of a 1.3 in the very light chasis of a 1.1! and there is quite alot of weight difference! therefore theoretically the 1.3 in the 1.1 should be faster than the normal 1.3!

i suppose the insurance company wouldnt have to know for a while either!

eventually im gonna have a large engine put inand convert it to rear wheel drive but im not gonna go into detail as i dnt want all those copycats out there to do anythin b4 me!

check out http://www.chatbear.com/board.plm?a=...1250&v=flatold to see how my project is comin along!

hope this helps!
