a sub box for your 86-89 accord Hatchback!

Hey i am selling my sub box for my 87 accord hatchback.(will fit any 86-89 accord hatchback) it holds two 15's and two 4 inch aeroports.(aeroports included) it fits up against the back seat perfectly and is custom made to fit under the stock hatch cover. it comes out to the edge of the bottom of the foldable cover it then goes straight down. the edges flare out in the last 7 inches and the two 15's are spread out to the edges and the two aeroports are stacked inbetween. the box is made out of 3/4 inch ply wood and has 20 wooden L brakets for rigidity.

This box retails for over $500 if you had a shop do it. i know because that is what i do for a living. this is high quality construction and the carpet is flawless. it is an absolutly perfect fit for any 86-89 accord hatchback. it even has a hole in the left rear corner for you to drill a hole through the floor and bolt it in.

i had two rockford fosgate punch power DVC's in it and hit 156.8 Db with this box. i am selling just the box for $175 and i would consider selling the subs along with it for a solid $850. the subs are held in place by alan head bolts and threaded metal fasteners. you can tighten these til they wont tighten anymore(a good safety feature). and if you buy the subs along with the box ill pay for shipping( i would reccommend it seeing how the box is 42 inches wide 18 inches tall and 28 inches wide at the max points and also wieghts close to 150 lbs.)I wil be selling on ebay for more than im asking here. trust me its worth the money.

this box was made for the car and looks like it came from the factory. the pictures are too big to upload so for the pics of it in and out of the car email me at [email protected]. i will respond quickly to any requests.

i promise you wont be disappointed with this box. it is well built and will complement your car and stereo. i have gotten compliments with it everywhere i go. I am only selling cause it was my winter/rain car and it was hit by a guy who ran a red light.

a trade may be considered. please email.

This thread is now Closed.

However, it will remain here for people to read.
If anyone has any questions for 11secMR2...just email him.
There is no need to fill up the forum.

Good luck 11secMR2
If you can't sell it....try some place that specialize in selling items such as www.ebay.com
Under a site like that, it will be more secured and both buyer and seller can feel more confident about the transaction.

I speak from experience. If any of you remember....we once had a AEM CAI group buy here on purehonda and many of us (including myself) lost a lot of money.
