I've called autozone and they told me this code means alternative fuel controller, but they have never heard of this before. Does anyone know anything about this code??????

what year ,model,and engine.also is fuel injected or carbureted engine.

HI I THINK YOU GOT THE CODES MIXED I THINK THE CODES YOU GOT WERE 11--AND 55 THERE IS NO CODE 1155. 11 IS CAMSHAFT SIGNAL OR IGNITION SIGNAL== NO REFERENCE SIGNAL DETECTED DURING ENGINE CRANKING. THE 55 IS THE END OF MESSAGE. CHECK IF YOU HAVE SPARK AT COIL WIRE THEN CHECK AT PLUG WIRE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE SPARK AT PLUGS BUT YOU HAVE SPARK AT COIL WIRE THE CAMSHAFT SENSOR IN DISTRIBUTOR IS BAD DALE
