2004 GC Limited Stereo Question
I have a new 2004 Grand Cherokee Limited (loaded) which came with a 10 CD changer. I want to purchase another cassette (the one that holds the 10 CDs), but only the dealer seems to have them and, of course, they want about $50 for one which is about 3 times too much! I am trying to determine who is the manufacturer of the 10 CD changer Jeep is using their vehicles. If I know that, I can probably purchase a new CD cassette for 1/3 of the price! I could uninstall the changer and look at the unit for the actual manufacturer, but that is a lot more work than I am willing to do. If anyone knows who the OEM for this unit is, I would appreciate a response. Thanks!

Re: 2004 GC Limited Stereo Question
You can also find a CD cassette/ carousel type thingy on Ebay. I saw one there today when I was looking for stuff for my JGC...

Re: 2004 GC Limited Stereo Question
Just go to Best Buy or any car audio place and get a aftermarket cd/casette player and have them take out the 10 CD changer and put it in a box for you, so you can keep it.
