Greetings all,
Vehicle: Chevy 2000 Cavalier 2.2 4-door Problem: BCM is my suspect for Power Door Locks to MALFUNCTION? The Power Door Locks decide to stay unlocked for some reason. When I press the Lock button they lock and right away re-open again. So I continued to Re-Lock the doors and now only the front driver door stays unlocked, the rest don't work at all. Has anyone ever come across this problem??? I think the Body Control Module is some what scwred due to my alarm. This happend when I used the factory remote to open the doors and i forgot the alarm was still on and when I went to disarm my Cavy the door locks started acting up by staying in the Unlocked position mind you I used the factory remote a number of times when the car was armed and i guess the BCM couldn't take it anymore. ANY SUGGESTIONS???? Is the BCM/RFA Reprogramable? If so, Can you Swap them between cars that you find at the junk yard without reprograming? I have the COMPUSTAR Remote Paging Alarm. Thanks to all, Please Email me at [email protected] Joseph |
