Question Suspension

i have a stock 92 GSR with a broken Coil Spring (front drivers side). My Local Acura Dealer want 175 $ for a stock spring. I'm just debating if should buy a kit from Eibach (Eibach Sportline Performance Springs 1.4 drop in the front and 1.0 in the back)

Some guys at work are telling 2 install Proac'tive Adjustable Springs because i drive my car in the winter.

Would i need to purchase a Camber kit for either application?

I don’t know what 2 do...

HELP!!!

JF

I thought the sportline was more of a drop then the prokit. Anyways, yeah, just buy some A/M springs, and I dont think thats enough of a drop to require a camber kit... but to play it safe, maybe you should get one.

Re: Suspension

Eibach sportlines drop the car around 2" & a camber kit is highly recommended along with aftermarket struts. I think your meaning the Pro-kit, aftermarket struts recommened & camber kit is suggested but not required, IMO. If you use ANY lowering springs with stock shocks/struts expect to replace within a few weeks or months. Stock struts/shocks can not control lowering springs properly, they must over-work resulting in shock fade, then failure.

DO NOT install or buy Proactive coilover sleeves, if your gonna go with adjustable coilovers get the real thing & expect to spend at least $800 for parts. Quality suspension is not cheap. You must spend some money have a good handling/riding car.
