Re: stereo system / unlock code?
My girlfriend told me something about on the Tiburon that if you remove the stereo without the key in the ignition that you need a code to get it to work again but never heard anything about the battery.. She works at Hyundai here, I'll ask and repost, maybe it can help ya.

Re: stereo system / unlock code?
Talked to muh girl she asked the service dept and they said if there is a problem it will give you an ERR code on the LCD display of the stereo. But just disconnecting the battery will only cause it to lose station memory.. In other words you will have to re enter your fav stations in the presets you want them. You should be safe.. I know this is a rather late post as you posted on the 21st, but with the Holidays and all you know how it is.. Maybe the answer can help someone else as well..

you need a wiring harness. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd..._ID=6587&DID=7 a diagram will come with that. you match that up with the harness for your aftermarket h/u, solder the wires together, and then connect the vehicle wiring harness into the harness in your radio hole. |
