1999Z24 Headlight Problems NEED help!
Ok so i bought my girlfriend a 99Z24 sweet car i must say but for some odd reason the left side headlight is very very dim. I have messsed around with the wires to try to find a bad ground and i can't seam to find anything. I even replaced the light bulbs.
Dose anyone have any idea what i should look for/replace. She is really getting on me about fixing this and i don't even know how. I would really appreciate any help Thanks, Tom |

Re: 1999Z24 Headlight Problems NEED help!
There are two wires supplying power to these units, on for high, one for low on the beams, and a ground. If both are dim, the ground is likely the problem. If you cannot find the ground by tracing the wiring, make a new ground by extending the wire and grounding it somewhere yourself. If only the low beam is affected, you might try locating the wire supplying voltage to it and check it for problems. At worst, you have the good light to use for comparison. Ray

Try using a multimeter or a test light.
