Whoa, I think the only engines that can be Twin Turboed are V6's and up. First off it sounds like u want a lot of power. You can get all the power out of a 3SGTE engine. 4-cylider turbocharged engine w/ endless capabilities. These engines can handle 400hp on stock internals. When internally modded they can reach 900-1000hp. This is the best engine ever for the Celica and you don't hv to worry about relaiability with this engine cause it was designed strictly with PERFORMANCE in mind.

Re: custom engine specs

jonneyj,
why do you want twin anything?
what celica do you have?

90CelicaGTS,
The 3S-GTE can handle more than 400HP on stock internals. 400HP is an internet myth.

IllGT4, the more power it can handle the better. I am swapping a 3SGTE in my car this summer and I can't wait for the new power I will have. With the engine modded, not to many things on the street will touch me, I can't wait for that kind of power, so the 90 Celica GTS can be as fast as it looks

Re: custom engine specs

that's right! more power to ya!

Good luck with your project. It'll scream. 3S-GTE's rock. Good reliable power.

Just wondering, what offset on your wheels?
I use H&R spacers on my GT4 and love the way it fills the gap.

Later.

I have heard of a company that made twin turbos for the 3S-GTE, (specificly in an mr2) but that they discontinued... i have also seen some people arround at car shows and online that have custom made 3S-GTE twin turbos but to me its not worth it... it costs too much money to make a custom one and then it is hard for the engine to blow out enough exhaust to spool the things.. that is what a lot of people dont understand... but just for the sake of it... it can be done

Re: custom engine specs

oh yes it can be done. I'm aware of the VATN kit.

plus, the added heat of two turbos in the engine bay. that sucks.. but, whatever people like.

peace.
