headlights not coming on
the truck is a '96 C1500, 350V8. When I rotate the headlamp switch to on, the lights only come on depending upon the position of the tilt steering.
And moving the steering up and down causes the lamps to come on and off. They'll stay on if you lock the steering in one position. Anyone else have the same problem? I have to drive it currently with the switch set to "Park" which does allow the daytime lamps to stay on. thanks, RPG |

possible chaffed wiring just below column on knee bolster plate or problem with multifunction switch, the dimmer switch is part of the multifunction switch and power must pass through this before reaching the headlamps.
