aem cai..what size K&N filter?

i want to replace my stock aem air filter for its pretty messed up..what size k&N do i get to replace it? since the aem diamter is i believe 2.5 inches do i get a filter with a 3 inch diameter to go on it or what? thanks

yeah. 3 inches is perfect. I bought a new AEM filter still in the wrap for $20 shipped. There are some deals out there.

i got a cylinder shaped filter. I think it was like RU-1000 or RU-2500. RU something. You can get a pretty big filter down there.
