http://membres.lycos.fr/finky/illusions/ I can't get this one:  - I even tried to look at the RGB for the different squares in Paint Shop Pro.. I still can't get it. My dad has a Ph.D. degree and he doesn't get it either.. Somebody enlighten me please.

An object/colour etc. surrounded by a dark colour appears brighter then the same object surrounded by bright colours.
Photoshop > Human brain
