I got a 99 LS teggy and i plan on getting my turbo in bout a yr or 18 mths. I know i need a new clutch and flywheel 1st. My question is if i put the ACT clutch in now..would it be to worn down and not good enough by the time i get a turbo about a yr and half down the road??

Here's my suggestion: go buy all the things you need, store them, and when you have the turbo have them installed all at one time so you'll save up both on time and money. That would work better than buy them now, put them, and find out the clutch is worn down a year later to have it replaced.

I'd say that if you wear out an ACT clutch in 1yr then you need to learn how to drive a stick before you even think about going turbo with your car.

I had an act on my DX engine and it gripped like a mofo for about a month, then just felt a little clampier than stock after it broke in, but never slid for the 6 months I had it (It slid on the 300 shot of nitrous I accidentally used, and blew the motor, but that's a different story ). Like said above just install them all at once instead of replacing something that already works fine for what you got.

don't replace your clutch right now unless you really need to.
