Gotta say city roads because anybody can go fast in a straight line (highway, etc.), its all about the twisties!
Unless you know of a good twisty highway in Northern California. If you do, PM me. No, seriously, PM me.

Re: Favorite Race Spot
twisties rock! nothing like a suggested 25 twisty at 65+
I'm with city streets on this.. only to the suggested speed limit most of the time

I voted highway but like city streets as well. Too bad I had to choose one.
And hitting the twisties suck if you're with some idiots who drive way over their heads.

Re: Favorite Race Spot
yeah, I get paranoid if someones driving a family car and thinks its a race car or that isn't set up for it.
My dad grabs on the side like a little girl when I take corners or accelerate

Highway is the best because they are built with High Speed in mind. Face it going 150+ is more of an adrenaline rush then hitting some twisties, but they are both fun.
Stop light racing on city streets is just gay. |

it's not that i don't enjoy them. i'm just not a fan of traffic or police. can't bust out in the city like you can on the mountian roads!

I'm with driftu and sr20detpower on this one, the idiots on the road in california just love to swarm around me. Highway driving is a rush. A couple of weeks ago, I got to drive a friends older jag (not sure what year) with a new V-12 pushin 475/492 on the desolate I-99 at 2 AM.....Its such a rush being in a car that big and fast. 145 with an auto and plenty of pedal left is just amazing
