apexi vafc?

Does anybody have a how to on this? i have a friend that just did the minime swap in the his hatch and wants to know how to conect his vafc. He has a D16y8 head on a D16a6 block. We checked the website and we are still not sure on how to do it cause he is using a pm6 ecu which has no vtec signal wire. Also we were trying to find out which wire was what. Has anybody done this before that can give us a hand. we would really apreciate it. thanks in advance.

yeah...the wiring diagram is correct if i remember correctly, just don't hook up the VTEC input wire.

Check with a service manual before cutting, just in case the A'pex-I manual is wrong.

so follow it exactly and not worry about that wire? What about the VTM Signal? what is that? Does anybody know where i can get a wiring diagram for the pm6 ecu? thanks

I left my notes at home, but yeah, wire it up exactly, If they don't show a wire being hooked up, don't hook it up. The pinouts should all be the same.

16mb version of the factory manual, I think the wiring is in Here under the 4G section, get the manual.

ok now off the top of my head heres what i can remember about the vafc harness

pink is vtec selinoid

yellow and white are used for the map sensor. not needed if you just want to use vtec settings. only used to correct fuel

brown and black are grounds, put them to any ground wire off the a pin at the ecu

orange and red are power wires. put them both to the 12v sorce on the a plug at the ecu

grey is throttle position sensor

green is rpm signal

thats all i can think of off the top of my head. sorry. but im pretty sure this is all you need
