Question engine swap

Is it possible to put an engine from a 92 towncar into a 90 towncar? If so what do i need to know about this. Will everything work just fine? Will it be a waste of time.

The 1990 Town Car came with a 5.0l.

The 1992 in question has a 4.6l.

They are two very different engines. The wiring is completly different and I'm sure that the Engine mounting points are different as well.

It would be easier and cheaper to get a Rebuilt or Reman 5.0l from a reputable shop for the 90.
