warning chime?

Ok i am totally lost on what this can be but i hope somebody can help me figure it out. I have a 2000 pontiac Grand AM GT and the warning chime seems to go off with the car off not lights are on and when i am driving it goes off at different times and there are no in dash lights on telling me something is wrong. so its real werid because it goes off all the time no matter what and i have no clue what it is. so if somebody can help me out on this one it would be appreciated.
