Adding keyless remotes to '99 Tahoe
Can I add keyless remotes to my police package '99 Tahoe? If so which serial number on the back of the remotes do I need? My truck has dutch doors and I was wondering if the 2x symbol on the remotes is for the swing up style door or dutch doors or both.Any help would be appreciated.

HI, I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. BUT I HAVE A 1995 TAHOE, WITH THE SWING UP GLASS, AND THE FOLD DOWN GATE. I HAVE ONE REMOTE LOOKING TO ADD ANOTHER. BUT I BELIEVE IF YOU HAVE THE SWING DOORS THEN THEY SHOULD LOCK AND UNLOCK WITH THE OTHER DOORS (THAT'S JUST MY THINKING). THE 2x ON MY REMOTE ONLY CLICKS OPEN THE GLASS HALF OF THE DOOR. HOPE THIS HELPS. IF SOMEONE RESPONSE TO YOU AS TO HOW TO ADD A REMOTE, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU PASSED ON THE INFO .
