Unhappy 89, will not start

well i have a 1989 Ford Escort, its the 1.9L model... Now the engine is getting spark and air but no fuel..there seems to be no "fuel pulse"... i would love it if you guys could help me out and geting her running again.

does the fuel pump whine when you turn the key to run? or is it a driver in the computer? Have you checked the fuel filter? fuses? Relays? mabe try and reset the inertia crash switch in the trunck?
What does "fuel pulse" mean?

the fuel pump wines, i checked the inertia in the trunk its fine..theres fuel getting to the filter..cause my buddy put his finger over one end and i cranked the motor and his finger was wet wit fuel..fuel is getting up to the engine, but not being sprayed through the ingector..so that is my problem... any one got any ideas?
