94 Toyota truck high oil pressure??
I just changed the oil on my truck last week when on my way home I noticed the oil pressure guage was pegged. Someone said to try changing the filter msybe it was bad. I did, but have the same problem. Any ideas?? Will it harm the engine to drive it this way???

2 things, 1 your oil pressure sending unit is bad 2 the pressure relife valve is stuck. if you are getting that high oil pressure it will baloon the filter and empty your engin fast. you might want to invest in a GOOD aftermarket guage set up. this will tell you for sure. and i allways use toyota oil filters they are worth the extra money.
