whats the lowdown on the regal?

i am about to purchase a used 1991 regal custom with the 3.1 liter V6 its a four door and has around 120,000 miles. it was owned my really old people and it has no rust. i was wondering about this car. is it a good buy for 1000 dollars. what goes wrong with it. what could i do to it thats affordable. is it fun. whats the lowdown on this buick. leave me a post if you know anything or email me. thanks alot.

A 3.1 eh? I'm jealous. I've got an '89 with the 2.8 V6 ... They're great cars. I had electrical problems with mine, but that's because Cletus the Mechanic in the middle of nowhere doesn't know that you don't put a 20-Amp fuse where a 10-Amp should be ... Anywho, for a one large stack of bones, sounds like a good buy.
