how much? with that high of milage it shouldn't be more then 4 and a half g's. the 302 is a solid block and can go deep if it's been taken care of. plus it's a snap to work on. wait - it's a gt right?

Who cares if its a gt or not, just work w/ what ya got (or in your case gettin). I guess if you ARE worried about power the 5.0L would be best, but if your a "i want a car that looks good but has good fuel economy" type person (which most people dont understand that whole concept) then the 3.8L would be better. But overall i've heard that the 94' is an overall good car-GT or not, manual or automatic.

Re: i have some ?'s

I'm sure the car still has alot of life left. But if your a teeny who intends on showing off in it and impressing the girls, You might reconsider. Any car with high mileage is going require a little TLC to keep on ticking. I have a very old 1980 ford truck with very very high mileage and it is very dependable. But I drive it everyday and show it much TLC. In other words I dont hot-rod it at all. Just do proper maintence on it and don't hot-rod it and this 94 stang with 138.000 will last alot longer than you think.

i care if it's a gt because the advice i am offering is in regards to the 302.

Both the 3.8 and 5.0 are proven high-milers...just make sure you are paying what is fair.

Hey bud, did you even consider that my statement had NOTHING to do with what you said. I was telling HIM not to worry too much about getting a GT. It's ok, dont worry about that, it happens. The internet can be taken out of contents.

hahaha - we've both fallen to the assumption of internet scorn - i was just trying to explain myself.

at any rate - if the car is cheap enough you could put a new engine in. make sure the interior is in tip top shape and it would be worth having in the future.
