Yeah, I'm living from paycheck to paycheck right now It really sucks. Atleast my car is mine outright, so no car payments, but then the credit card payments, the insurance payments, and others yet come due

I hope you can find a way to turn things around!

Cars are like giant money pits! They’re fine when they’re working properly, but when something goes wrong, it’s always expensive!

Nah, dont quit school, thatd be dumb....

Do what im doing, and try to save a certain amount each paycheck, like, im livin like a poor tightwad right now, and stowin away a good amount every time i get my paychecks.....

so, if you can, do that, and, your car isnt that bad, you can live without AC! THATS WHAT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL IS ALL ABOUT!!!

Hmmm, id do something about the window, that probably wouldnt be too bad on your wallet, and your brakes are probably squeelin coz of somethin simple too (have you replaced em at all?), and....your bumper is probably gonna cost a helluva lot....send me some pics of your car, coz it cant be that bad, and trust me, i can send ya worse

Yeah, xmas is hurtin my wallet........and my car just got thrown off a dirt road and has some crapped up internals because of it.....so, WELCOME TO THE CLUB!

Become a Jehovahs Witness so you dont have to celebrate birthdays, christmas, anniversaries or any other holliday. That should save you some bucks for awhile and scare away your friends so you wont have to go out anymore and spend any money with them.

Of course that would suck - but it would work.

I doubt it. My parents bought a car brand new back in 1969 for $3000. Today you are lucky to get a brand spanking new car for under $13,000...and that being a cheep small car with no options.

Yeah, but the prices are all gonna depend on the value of the dollar bill at that time... soooo if you mean buy an old car, its gonna be crapped up, just like you can buy a cheap car now. If the prices of cars are gonna change? not really that significantly. Sooo, youre gonna pay for what you get, simple as that...

Personally, on your car i dont think i would waste any more money trying to fix it. Just save the cash and keep lookin at used cars on autotrader and stuff

I feal ya man, I drive an 89 Ford Tempo. I have no AC, (getting the deal charged up is kinda low on my priority list), but the heater works!!!
Every single day when I'm not thinking about anything in particular my mind wonders to how much I want an R33. Unfortinatly I live in the US which makes my dream that much farther away. Oh well, just keep pluggin away and sooner or later things will work out, they always do. As for me, I've sent in my applications to a bunch of collages in NZ. That way all I need to do is save some money and try to get a 30k loan. Then I can have ye ole Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 V-spec in NZ. Now getting it into the US is another story but hey, atleast I'd have it. Hell I might even come to love NZ and stay there!
