Keyless entry conversion
My 1992 Jeep Cherokee has an existing factory installed keyless entry system. I would like to replace this old system with a newer one I already have. I know the wiring order of the new keyless system but I’m not really sure how to connect it to the old existing wires. There are 4 wires connecting to the old system I think one is the power (red) and a ground (black) as far as the rest I have no clue. If anyone has installed a 3 button keyless system in a 1992 Cherokee with an existing factory keyless entry system mounted in a ceiling console then please send me any information you can that nay make my job simpler. I don’t real care if the third button opens the back hatch or not. I’m not even sure it has an actuator to do this.
Email me [email protected] Thank you |
