Customized Guage setup?

Hey whats up fellas,
I was curious if any of you have thought about installing your guages(air/fuel oil pressure) in your guage cluster lid? ya know ike cut out a hole around the hazard light switch and dimmer switch and then rerouting the switches in the piece under ur steering wheel? hopefully i dont sound confusing lol but if any of you have dones this, let me know if its a good idea or not to try. I do got the guage works dual pod and my tach right under that and i would like to install water temp and oil temp on the cluster cover, thought it be a cool idea.
thanks
Dustin
