Question immobiliser

help

i have bought a megane from the uk, and i live in greece.
during the summer the immobiliser was set off and the car will not start.
it will cost 1500 euros to be taken in the nearest dealer, an amount that i can not afford. is there any way to disable the immobilizer with the key or without it?

Please help me.
it has been in the drive for 1 month now.

Re: immobiliser

You will have to get a key code from the manufacturer.

Hope it helps you too. It worked for me. I had to get code for my car from authorised Renault service.

I have an email addy for this guy. He can give you the code for your renault so long as you can provide him for the VIN number from the inside of the door.He takes a tenner for doing it but its well worth the pennies.
You then use the code to switch off the immobiliser using the central locking button inside the car and the flashing immobiliser light on the dash. Amazingly it works but when you switch off the car after say 20mins it goes back on so you have to do this often

hes pretty clear with instructions and goes thru the procedure
