My almost brand new 87 Taurus
I finnally talked my mother into not driving anymore. (She's 89) So I bought her car from her, it's an 87 Taurus with 22,137 miles on it.
It has been garaged since day one, so the body and interior are perfect. It need's a muffler and the original tires need to go, (thought their tread is perfect) and the choke sticks a little, other than that, it runs ok but is very tight feeling. Anyone have any suggestions on how to break it in right? |

It has fuel injection, so there's no choke. Drive it like you want it to run.
Which engine and transmission does it have? There's been some problems with the AXOD four-speed automatic. Want any info, let me know. I have the '87 Factory Manuals.
