having probs with 2001 neon R/T

I was just cruising at 75 MPH and the car just shut off. I lost all power and the car would not start. Now the car only has 32K miles on it. I had it towed to the dealer and they said that a ground wire came loose. So I get back in it and made it about 5 miles and the darn thing does the same thing. It has now been at the dealer for 3 days "getting fixed". So if anyone else has had this problem could you please inform me about what could be wrong. I think that the alternator went bad but a jump wouldn't do anything either. Any opinions welcomed.
