Heartbreak?

How do you get over it? How do you get passed the feeling of just wanting to kill youself? All that you can think of is the one that you truely love, but they want nothing to do with you.

it takes time for that empty feeling in your chest to disappear. remember that there's 1000000's of other ppl out there.

its in these times that you get to know yourself a little better.

but yeah, go do some drinkin and party! have a good time. you are the most important person in your life..

Re: Re: Heartbreak?

Well from a very recent exp. the best way to get over it is to start nailing her friends. That made me feel quite a bit better about the whole situation.

If thats not an option then only time is on your side, and stay away from alcholol. It tends to keep you out of the social mainstream when your setting around drinking yourself stupid all the time.

John, that was awesome. thanks.

Kicker - try to focus on hobbies, friends, entertainment...all you've gotta do is get your mind off of it. and start "fishing" again ASAP. nothing fixes heart-break like having it fixed again by a new girl, i know from experience. there's always a small "mourning period" where you feel like a sack of shit and want to die, but just let that natural period pass, don't do anything stupid, and get on living your life.

everybody here is right. it will take time to heal the pain that you are experiencing. Just spend time with your friends because they will be the ones that get you through this.

Wish I could, I work 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, makes for a very tired kicker which means that he's always grumpy and not in the mood to see people lol

you could always try to sleep it off and play lots of videogames in down time if you don't want to be near anybody...stay away from shooting games...you'll end up naming all of the bots after your ex and you'll go on a shooting rampage making you angry and everything..i know about that thing......any good driving/sport/rpg/puzzle game should do

Re: Heartbreak?

I don't know about you guys, but after getting out of a long term relationship, i feel relieved. I forgot how much fun it was to just hang out with the boys. Get back into the hobbies you used to do when you had free time. Spend time with your family. Just enjoy yourself and don't worry about finding the right girl. She'll come along sooner or later.

...and never will. Life is short; live it to the fullest. It's so easy to get down and depressed especially with the approaching holidays. I can say this with experience. I am just so greatful I have my family and friends during this time, and I know eventually that right girl will come along for me.
