Which car should i choose?

sup people. its been awhile since i was last up in here and i see alot has been poppin since. now to the subject, im thinkin of gettin rid of my car and get something newer and more reliable. the civic i have right now has been a headache for the most part im just fed up dealing with it.

now which car do you think i should go with as my next? I really dont plan on doing any serious engine modifications but maybe a few minor modifications here and there.. right now i have the 98-02 accord coupe in mind but i am willing to get somethin else if the price is right and the car is in a-1 shape mechanically The selections are listed above for yall to vote

Re: Which car should i choose?

I dunno about anyone else, but I'd go with the Prelude. Because, check it:

Looks: Sweet
Engine: Sweet
Drivetrain: ...uh...FWDs can kinda kill you in a race...
Overall: Sweet...not considering drivetrain. If you want something like the prelude but RW, then go for da Nissan.

From what i hear. If you put bits of the Civic and mix it with some Accord, you get a Prelude. I also hear that the 2.2 motor isnt as reliable as the other honda motors. Dont know if its true...maybe someone on this forum can clarify or correct this rumor.

Go with the RWD 240SX, just because its RWD. After that I'd go with the Si then Integra

240sx with sr20 or rb25 swap. Lots of power and RWD.

Re: Which car should i choose?

the 240 without question, once you drive a rwd car, you'll never want to go back to fwd

I sorta do want the Civic Si but i just hate the fact that i see them EVERYWHERE!! But if ever come across an awesome deal for onei, i may consider getting it. Other than that, im hoping that an 98-02 accord pops right in front of my eyes with a deal that i cant lose on.

Re: Which car should i choose?

Blue Preludes are some of the sickest looking Hondas imo, you should get a type sh. They're powerful enough being stock, and with fwd snow driving won't be as much of a problem as the Nissan. If I could afford the insurance I would buy a blue Prelude if it was in a used car lot I pass by.

If you're not going to be racing or drifting then you dont need a 240sx. For street driving, an integra will provide you with just as many thrills - plus its more reliable and parts are cheaper for it.

Re: Which car should i choose?

preludes come fast out of the box, but there aren't as many parts as civics. accord coupes are very nice, although you can't get a 5 speed 6-cyl. But you can swap out the tranny and put in the cl 6-speed tranny. if you put a vortech supercharger in a civic si you can pump out 272 hp on stock boost.

so it all depends on how fast you want your car.

Dude said he's not going to hook up his car. Preludes are on a good middle ground of power and cost.
