1959 Caddy Eldorado, 1986 Monte Carlo, last photos of progress. Dog legged 64 Impala
Cadillac - It's nearly finished, I'm just too lazy to put it all together at the moment.
![]() ![]() Monte Carlo - Finally got hooked up with some replacement tail lights and a steering column, so I started to get the boot install underway with putty and styrene. I know it's a rough job but I haven't even come close to finalising how to lay it all out but I did change the 4 pump, 8 battery setup to a 2 pump 6 battery setup. ![]() ![]() 64 Impala - It has a Hoppin Hydros 4 motor setup under it, I want to repalce the 4 motors with 2 Big Daddy motors so I can actual get it to start moving well. The colour is gloss black with red metallic flake. ![]() ![]() I know not many people will show interest in these but... |

Love the caddy man, it's very nice! Can you post pics of your set-up on the Impala?

Thanks for the props on the Lac.
The Impala just has the stock Hoppin Hydros 4 motor chassis under it, I will eventually replace the 4 motors with 2 big daddy motors if I don't sell the chassis beforehand. I've started on the Monte carlos boot alot more, I'll psot a progress thread sometime this week. |

Wow ! Very impressive work on the caddy, especially on the awesome paintjob on it!
Congratulations! Maybe some engine detailing could do wonders in this great car? As for the rest of the cars, not really my cup of tea, but sure am admiring the amount of work gone into it ! Olivier |

You just need to learn how to get a can to work properly, that Caddy has no undercoat or clearcoat, no polishing or waxing was done to it, and it was over the top of a coat of blue. Well anyway I haven't touched the Caddy since those photos but I've been doing a bit on the Monte Carlo and hopping the 64 around abit. i'll post more of the Monte when I get the boot well and truly underway. Nice work, PD! that Monte is my favourite, and the Impala looks crazy. the cadillac is very old school, who makes that model? I didn't know Tamiya made Gloss Black...
