New F1 photos taken on the street in London...
Here's an album of new photos I found. They are of the silver F1 that was recently offered by Taylor & Crawley. This was also the F1 used for the 10 year recap article on the F1 in the September 2003 issue of "Classic & Sports Car" magazine.
Enjoy the pics, there are over 40 of them all at 1280x960. Be sure to leave a nice comment for the photographer in his guestbook as well. Click the pic BTW: If anyone knows the chassis number of this F1, please share it as I certainly don't. >8^) ER |

I can help narrow it down slightly. The car was registered sometime between 01 August 95 and 31st July 96. So likely cars are as follows:
040, 050, 047, 049, 038, 044 Let the elimination begin...... |

Anybody want to hazard a guess at the shade of silver?

You can rule out #038 - that is Kennedy's Kandy Orange F1. You can also rule out #044 - that is Herb Chamber's silver F1.

So that leaves 3 Magnesium silver cars and one Mercedes Brilliant (spot the oxymoron) silver. Can anybody tell the difference?

kind of a boring atricle but thanks for posting it. I was hoping that it was a test drive and they talked about it.

Yeah - the article is more of a history lesson. I was really hoping for a lot more from it when I saw it was going to be the feature article the previous month. It did add a few pieces to the puzzle, but the really good articles are the ones from 1992-1995 found mostly in AutoCar and CAR magazine. AutoCar had a little more access and seemed a bit more enthusiastic about the F1 than CAR ever did though.

CAR is another Euro magazine - you can find copies of it at Barnes & Noble or Borders every month right next to EVO magazine. I don't think you find any old articles on the F1 from it on the web though.
mini magic - You're welcome, but don't tell me man, leave a note for that guy at Imagestation. ![]() >8^) ER |
