Door locks don't always lock/unlock
If the all of the doors don't always lock or unlock with the remote could that mean they are dirty or corroded? Can they be cleaned? The front two seem to be the worst. Or could it be the solenoids?

I am having the same problem in my 1997 Grand. I have an aftermarket alarm that is talking the factory alarm. I originally thought the alarm was the problem but now I wonder if the Jeep is just not locking/unlocking the doors. It seems to happend kinda randomly.
Any ideas? Thanks KJC

96-00 Grands are known for power door lock motors going bad,the bad news is you have to buy the latch to get them no matter if its a WJ orZJ.
