Exhaust
I have an 03 silverado 4.8 and i have been interested in getting dual exhaust installed but I'm not sure where to start looking. Im just looking for a nice sound. Just seeing if anyone has any thing to suggest. Also i was wondering if i install exhaust if it will void my warranty. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have a 2004 ext. cab and just added exhaust this week. First thing I did was visit my dealer and ask what I could do without voiding any warranty. They told me as long as the cats are left alone and there are no cuts within 12 inches from the O2 sensors your fine. I have the 4.8 also. You can go to just about any of your local shops and they can do whatever you ask. On mine they cut just before the Y, ran 2 pipes for a true dual system with 2 40 series flowmasters and chrome tips. Your cats and sensors are up high enough so they are not a factor. You won't be disapointed, trust me! I didnt add headers but from what I hear its not a bad idea. It's all in what your looking for.
