Hi, I am a new mmember to this forum. I own a 2002 TL-S that requires an engine block replacement due to an oil leak. My Acura delaer has already replaced a defective transmission and now I need to replace the engine block. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem and does anyone know if the Acura dealer replaces the block, are they required to reset the odometer to 0?
Thanks for any help. Bill |

Re: 2002 TLS Engine Block Replacement @ 42,000 miles
the odometer does not get reset to 0 for the simple fact that the mileage also affects the rolling chasis....if they change out the motor i'm assuming you'll have to bring proof that you have been getting your oil changes.
