GM stereo code
I know this is the Honda forum, but .......
hey guys, I have a friend with a '97 chevy cavalier. She lost power and now the factory CD/radio will not work. She forgot the code she entered and now she's locked out. The dealer wants to charge her like $60, do any of you know how to reset this thing without going to the dealer ? If this is possible, I need to know exactly what to do -thx |

Re: GM stereo code
I'm not sure about chevy's but, I would first disconnect the negative battery cable & try entering the code again.
Ask bowtiebandit he will know for sure. |

well a friend that works for delco would help but i have found if you call delco direct with the radio's serial# and model number usually found on the top of the radio. They will give you a code.
They are not the nazi's eclipse is when you lose your key cd for the ESN.
