SR20DET Swap Questions

1. how much hp and torque does the DET have?
2. what choices do i have for the intercooler?
3. do i have to use a 91-93 harness? does 94-96 work?
4. where can i find JDM gaskets?
5. can i swap parts from my SR20DE to the DET?
6. what tranny should i use for it?
7. do i have to fabricate any piping?
8. what turbo is on the DET? how much lbs. of boost is stock?
9. what things should i change when i install the engine?
10. what ECU is compatible with the DET?
11. any special care i need to worry about?

1. Bluebird DET - 205 hp/ 199 lbs. of torque GTi-R DET - 237 hp/ ? torque
2. you can use the stock intercooler but will have to custom the hood to get cooler air or you can get a FMIC, but will have to fabricate all the piping.

5. some that you can use are pulleys, pop charger, exhaust...
6. you can use any SR20DE tranny to bolt on to the DET

8. Bluebird DET - Garretts T25 6 lbs. of boost GTi-R DET - Garretts T28
9. Fuel pump, water pump, radiator hoses, rod bearings (recommended)
10. have to send in a P10 ecu to get retuned by JWT
11. all cooling systems must be bled, the DET is sensitive to air in the cooling system.

3. Send your 91-96 ECU to JWT and they will send back a DET enabled ECU.
7. Potentially. However Hotshot is in the process of making an intercooler piping kit available for the P10 G20's.

i was talking about the wiring harnesses not the ecu. i know george or luke can help me out on this one. please!
