Ok theres this REALLY hot girl at work that i brought up enough courage to ask out. she said that she just started talking her ex boyfriend again (after a year apart) and isnt sure whats going to happen with that. she doesnt want to lead me on so she said that she wants to wait and see what happens with him first so she doesnt lead me on and end up going out with her ex boyfriend again. So the next day (today) i went up to her and said "hey, i know you're still talking to your ex, but if its ok with you i'll call you some time and we can get to know each other while you see what happens with your ex" and shes like "yea, ok!" then wrote her # down and gave it to me. she said "here ya go, call me when i get off work".

she gets off work in an hour and a half, im not worried about how thats going to go, im good at phone conversations. but what should i do as far as trying to convince her that im the better choice?

Don't think you have to convince her. Know you are better, and act it. Nothing works better then confidence. If she's not gonna take the chance with you, its her loss.

YellowMaranello, thats not really what i meant. i wasnt going to argue with her over who is better, i was just seeing what i should say to make her want me, without even bringing up her ex

k just got off the phone with her.

Me: hey whats up
Jennifer: oh not much, just got off work, you?
Me: watching a movie at home for now..
Jennifer: oh, you arent going out tonight?
Me: nah, im kinda tired, plus i wanted to talk to u
Jennifer: aww, how nice
Me: So how was work?
Jennifer: it was alright, those long days really drag (she worked like 9 hours, usually she does 5 or so)
Me: yea, you get used to it eventually, it was horrible when i first started doing 8 or more hours each day
Jennifer: yea. we had some really dumb guy come in, he took a clearance sticker off something for $14 and put it on an XBOX and the cashier was like "um, thats not the right price" and the guy said "oh, then i dont want it"
Me: yea ive had people swap clearance tags and put them on dvd players, its funny because they actually expect you to put that as the price, then they're surprised when you dont give it to them for that price

Jennifer: ugh, i have such a bad headache and i have a fat term paper due next week and i only have like 3 of the 10 pages done
Me: wow that sucks, im sorry
Jennifer: its alright, ill finish it in time, i always do
Me: well thats good, so how is school going aside from the long term paper?
Jennifer: its good, im not going quite full time so it isnt too bad actually
Me: oh thats cool
Jennifer: yea. well im sorry to cut this short but my head is killing me and i really have to work on that term paper, i'd love to stay and talk.. but...
Me: oh, no problem, ill see you at work tomorrow
Jennifer: ok, cool!

Jennifer: bye bye

Damn straight. I come in all shapes and sizes. I don't understand people's objection to 'easy' chicks. It's a win-win situation. Easier for the guys certainly.
