Im so f*@king piss right now, I went to get a smog test only station so I can register my car, and i FAiled. Not a gross polluter thank god, but 1 thing failed and thats the ignition timing. I guess it was to low of BTDC, it regestered @ 9 BTDC. I guess he said i need 11,12++ some bullSh*t like that, factory new 15. Ok so now I have to get that fix and pay another Smog test fee + cert. Gosh living in CALI sux sometimes.
How much usually do shops cost to adjust ignition timing anyways??

Re: Smog Failed - Ignition timing WRONG!!!
Timing is simple to adjust yourself if you have a timing light. Our shop would charge the minimum labor charge 0.5hrs - $32.50
