Good instructions for putting together a turbo?

I was thinking about putting a turbo together for my 96 GSR and I found this site that seems to be a step by step on how to put together a custom turbo. I don't have much experience with putting together a turbo setup so I was wondering what you guys thought about these instructions.

Here is the link: http://www.cse.uconn.edu/~yelevich/turbo/turbo.html

Thanks

Exactly, This Kit Is Designed For Those Who Are Not As Fortunate As Others. There Is Nothing Special About It. We Are The Turbonetics Dealer For This Area, As Of Yesterday, And Will Be Doing Projects With Them. We Offer Lots Of High End Items And Service, But Too Often People Forget About The Little Guy. Man, Don't Hate, I Am Just Trying To Help People Out.

Re: Re: Good instructions for putting together a turbo?

It gets kinda annoying when every post that mentions the word turbo has you trying to sell your kits. Why don't you make your own thread so that people wanting to buy turbo's will search and find it?

I realize your not harming anyone with your advertisments, but instead of right off the bat trying to sell him something, why don't you answer his question first. At least you would look like your trying to help and not just advertise. And you don't have to do anything "just for me" I am a strong believer in doing whatever you want to do so if you feel like posting in every turbo forum go ahead. I was just giving my opinion which I thought others probably shared.

TEAM KLR, start a thread giving details of the parts and pricing, then post a link in your signature. That way in the future when you post in a thread, everybody that views that thread will see your sig and click on it if they want to.

Talking

Yeah i kinda notice that too. The webpage looks very informative. It gives good directions on how to put the turbo on your car, but it does leave out tuning your car. Remember, there is a lot more to a getting a turbocharged car to run right than just slapping it on.....

So you think it would be better to get a kit by like revhard or drag for my 96 integra?

I have heard more things about Drag than revhard, but they are both generally the same kind of kit. They are both more of a street/strip kit than a straight street kit. The drag is not carb exempt (hope you don't have exhaust sniffs in your state), not sure about the revhard. If it were me i would go with the drag gen III kit.....but then again if it were really me i would save alot of money and build one myself and make more power.

Re: Good instructions for putting together a turbo?

the drag kit is the way to go. stay away from the f-max kits... rev hard is a good kit but the drag is a better over all kit. there will be no instructions so be ready to figure some shit out. i am about to do a custom kit on an integra, it will include t3/t4, fmic, raptor bov, new gen wastegate, 440cc injectors, apexi safc, installed for $4000.00 that should give you a refference, the drag kit should cost you from $2700-$3200 you should try to get the upgraded turbo, that is the t3/to4r turbo. we sell that kit for $2900+s&h

these prices are to give you something to compare to. see what you can find a kit for compare, and then you also have a comparison for a custom kit.
